Science diet is not great.
Anyway, our Derby does the same thing but he goes through phases. He likes to eat and play with it. He also goes after our socks and underwear (clean or dirty!) ew!
so we have a gross dog with habits we can't seem to break!
We feed him the best of the best food (Orijen) and I think he does it because he can.
