That's an awesome idea. I wonder if my old vet didn't do this because Garrett is a large breed, but he was a baby then. Guess that on top of other things is why I never went back to that vet. Just didn't have good bedside manners.
I'd feel much better with a topical anesthetic then just straight on doing it. So if I wasn't having them put under I'd definitely go that way! Thanks for the information I swear I learn so much every day on this site!
