Roxie was spayed on Thursday, and she has been really crusty and stinky since then. She actually had feces stuck to her rear fur! We were told not to get her wet for 7 days. Is it ok if I make an appointment with the groomer to have her bathed and cleaned up next weekend? It will be beyond the 7 days, but just barely. I have washed her face and her bum with a wet washcloth (making sure not to wet the incision site) but she still looks (and smells) pretty rank.
