We have an area in our kitchen that I used one of those puppy fence things and just fenced off a small area. It's her "home". In it we have her food, water, kennel, a couple toys and her piddle pad. If we aren't home, sleeping or just too busy to watch her, she's put in her little area. The kennel door is always left open, so if she needs to go, she can just walk out, use the pad and go back to bed! It's working out quite well so far....

Eventually I'll train her to go outside. But she's only 2 pounds right now, and I'm sure she'd get sick or something being outside during our freezing cold Wisconsin winters.
