I'm a groomer, and it's something I deal with all the time in puppies. So many new owners are afraid of hurting their wee ones.
Bath her with a good shampoo and apply a good conditioner. Let the conditioner set for about 10 minutes before rinsing it out. As you dry her gently brush her layer by layer. This should get the little knots out. If some are resistant. Hold the hair in your fingers between the knot and her skin, with the side of slicker brush, gently brush. Don't pull and go slow.
