Did anybody here see the NBC Dateline investigation into pet stores and puppy mills in 1998? I just recently saw it. PETA sent me a free videotape of it. I should make copies on DVD and mail them to everyone I know. It was enlightening
(although everything they said I knew was already true). But they went undercover into pet stores including Petland
and you should see the lies they tell and how 'knowledgable' they seem to customers. It showed actual puppy mills and shed some light on how easy it is to get AKC papers for anything, even a non-exisitent dog or a
cat.
Just send in the fees. Dateline really needs to do a follow up to show that this is still happening.
