Is it safe (in the long run) to give Harley baby benadryl twice daily to help relieve itching? I found some fleas on him and am using some garlic suppl to try and get them to leave him alone. The vet (the cow rather) told me it was safe to give him one in the morning and one in late afternoon to help relieve the itching.. Even for long term use. Is this true?
