Caution also needs to be used when adopting from a rescue. Puppy mills have been known to pose as a rescue. OP, I do hope that you stick around and help expose unethical breeders that are members of YT. You mentioned a couple members from Missouri and Oklahoma. Big surprise there. Half expected KS to be one of them. We're also know for our lax laws. ~Joanne~
