I was just wondering what you all have been feeding your pregnant mamas. I am pretty sure my Fifi is expecting. I wasnt so sure up until a couple days ago as she is starting to get round. In the mean time ideas of what to feed her now is appreciated. She is currently eating dry IAMS puppy dog food. I will try the whelping pudding during whelping and after. In previous litters Ive not tried the pudding. Rather I simply fed chicken and rice mixed with the dry kibble in the weeks after whelping.

Ive learned quite a bit and will be doing some things differently this time. I want to ensure my mamas health at all times and of course her babies too.

Congratulations on your upcoming litter.
I do not change their diet until the last two weeks. Then I give them 1/2 boiled egg and a couple of tablespoons of cottage cheese twice a day, plus feed them, puppy kibble.
I feed them that until they are finished nursing. I have never had one refuse it and have never had one develop eclampsia
