Really? I've never heard of that before. I think it would be great for bigger dogs, but a Yorkie falling from a height like that would be bad. If your groomer is attentive like they should be, if your pup jumps they should be able to grab it immediately. I had a little Maltese jump straight off into the air with no warning. I'm not allowed to go more than an arm's length away so I scooped him up mid air under his belly. It was actually kind of funny, he looked like Super Dog lol
