Because they have chosen to make their lives public, I think this is acceptable (that is, if you're famous, be ready to deal with the consequences...that's life); however, I also think it is mean, especially if somebody would read the ad without reading the paragraph underneath which I'm sure happens often...
So Peta is getting attention again, but I am still very confused about why they think this kind of attention is worthwhile. This ad doesn't even have a shick factor without reading beyond the first line. In fact, if my dog wasn't spayed and I saw ads like theirs, it would probably make me want to do the opposite of what they said...
IMO, ASPCA's commercials are respectful while getting the point across. It can be done.
But then, I'm not a Peta supporter and I am generally a Duggar supporter, so...
