{ I
don't disagree that the amount of kids they choose to have is their business...but, given they're filming their what, 4th television season now, with their 19 kids...haven't they pretty much shown they want it to be everyone's business, in a way

? That they want their kids to live their lives in the media? }
Here is the text/explanation from PETA:
(quote) "The Duggar kids will probably never need to worry about having a roof over their heads or food in their mouths, but the millions of unwanted cats and dogs born each year in this country aren't as lucky," says PETA Vice President of Cruelty Investigations Daphna Nachminovitch. "The best way to keep cats and dogs out of animal shelters is to spay and neuter all four-legged family members."
One unspayed female cat and her offspring can create a whopping
420,000 cats in just seven years, and one unneutered male dog can father nearly limitless litters. Almost 8 million cats and dogs enter animal shelters every year in the U.S., and roughly half of them must be euthanized because there simply aren't enough good homes. Unwanted dogs and cats who never make it to an animal shelter are often abandoned and must fend for themselves on the streets, where they are often subjected to cruelty and suffer from starvation, disease, or injuries. The solution is simple: spaying and neutering.
