Not a bad mom. Doing what's best for your baby, that's all. Most of the time when our babies are home alone they sleep anyway unless they are very young. Then they can get into trouble so making her safe is in no way a bad thing. Where you have your baby is perfect as it makes her feel safe while you are away. It's her safe place and I'm sure she would rather be there then having the run of the house. Giving them the run of the house can also lead to seperation anxiety. So you are doing the best thing for her.
