Cindy, If you can buy Reynolds Oven Bags at your local supermarket there are picture directions with them. Its all so very simple to follow. To cook a 12 lb. turkey stuffed it would take about 2 1/2 hrs, less if not stuffed. The best part is you just Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, Place the turkey in the bag and close with the nylon tie that comes in the pkge, Cut six 1/2-inch slits in the top of the bag for steam to escape. Tuck ends of the bag in the pan. Place the pan in the oven allowing room for the bag to expand during cooking without touching the heating elements, walls or racks. The oven bag should not hang over the pan. Then you Bake according to the recipe chart. To serve , carefully cut open the top of the oven bag, I syphon out the juices and use them for gravy making. The turkey stays moist, the liquid is all in the bag and no messy pans to clean. It even browns itself while its cooking so no need to baste. To me, its the "simplest" way for a no fuss turkey meal. If you want to learn more about those oven bags visit http://www.reynoldskitchens.com It comes out great everytime! Happy Thanksgiving !!
