Hummm... i will just add my opinion it may help you and your sister:

I would never, i mean : NEVER, try to breed any female older 6 even if she has had litters before or not, if she has excellent health or is the best show dog ever.

And i am answering for me, and at least 5 more experienced , very very experienced breeders in my own family. I learned a lot with my Late Grandma who had a large breed. I always heard and choose to spay or retire at 5 the most. No matter what breed .

I know many many breeders, of different breeds small, larger, all kinds. I never heard of anyone making plans to breed any female older than 6. Usually the plan is to retire by 5 , have the last litter at 5 or before ...

Explain all the reasons will be too long of an answer, but i hope it helps you help your sister !
