Mine does it too. I look as it as almost like a reflex action. The see a big ol' hand coming toward them, and it's doggy instict or something. They may also think them doing that
helps us in some way! I always kiss and love mine when I finally get him, though, because it is very heartbreaking. (maybe they just do it for the luvins lol)
