I just check the New Yorker for Sunday night on Hotels.com......600$ now. Thats just crazy. I'll probably just try to fly stand-by (or sit-by) on Sunday. I'm not paying that for a hotel. I would check directly with the hotel. Explain the situation and see if they can help you. I know that I and several others canceled rooms Monday morning that we had held onto. Call them at 212-971-0101.
