I was just hoping for a similar experience and someone saying dont worry it happened to me and mines fine. It sucks to see your 3 month old puppy having what is now confirmed to be a grand mal seizure. Before today he was a ball of energy and totally healthy ready to growl and bark and play every minute of the day, which he was right back to doing when we got him home and 5 minutes after the one he had on our bed. |
my guess is he was dropped or liver shunt as too young for epilepsy that is rare in this breed. I would get to a vet first thing in am and if he has another one tonight i would go to a specialty hospital tonight -- do you have a specialty hospital in your area? call er and ask if there is a 24 hr facility with specialists on staff like neurologist, etc -- With a little one like that and multiple seizures that really concerns me as they can go into a coma if seizure is bad enough so this is nothing to mess with
shame on that vet for blowing this off sounds guilty to me like he knows what happened and hoping it will just go away
