I live in an apartment also which I still have 2 extra rooms, dont know why lol. But baby gates can make a good spot for yours if you dont have a small room. I think the smaller the area they have, the less they will dirty it. Just as I said yesterday I was putting four peepads at a time! Just cause space was too big. Now by cutting his space down by three times, and having crate with peepad in it really close to everything else, makes him not wanna go by his stuff. I think I read that you arent supposed to have their pee area by their bed and food? Not sure why though, but it is still working for me now. He has just enough room to sleep, walk around his food and go in crate. I wait for him to potty then I allow him his freetime. But he is very overexcited and with a baby, its hard to keep him out long. Anyways I am mumbling now. My whole point was that you can use babygates and turn any space into a small area!
