1. Check references of the breeder including Vet breeder uses?
2. Check the BBB for complaints?
3. Require a money back guarantee from breeder for any medical reasons?

5. Look at other breeders in your area?
If no to any of the above, esp. #3 you are at fault too and you never would of purchased a puppy at 9 weeks of age or even thought about doing business with a breeder that would sell such a young puppy.

Thats not nice. I think she already knows that. No reason to beat her up some more. It's not going to help her now, in the future she will know.
What matters now, is helping her!
