I would just like to share my experiences with you and maybe it could help you in your decision. I can tell you that large dogs can do serious damage to the little ones while at play. You can compare it to a head on collision with a cement wall going about 75 mpg. I saw WAY too many of these collisions when I worked for a vet. I will not go into the gory details but I will say it was not pretty and many did not survive.
