I think they are soooo cool. I've only met a few in real life. If I had the room and a bigger house and a bigger car (LOL) and more money for food... I'd love to own one. I always hear they are gentle giants.

I know you have to be more careful their 1st year of life with not over-exercising because their bones are growing and they get sooo big so they have to be on somewhat limited activity for the 1st year. I THINK they also get bloat and hip dyplasia alot.

The Irish Wolfhounds are really cool, too. They're even bigger than Danes and very gentle and sweet (I've met a few).
