In this case if it was an oops I think someone who highly values their lines would just find pet homes and give the dogs away and make sure the contract has a strong spay/neuter clause or spay/neuter before they leave. I would not be advertising on puppyfind.

Great points! I think this sounds like someone who didn't have breeding rights to the male, and decided to breed him anyway. Since mixes can't be registered with the AKC, unsuspecting buyers are misled. People sometimes wonder why it's so hard to get a dog from a quality breeder, and this is one of the reasons. Even spay and nueter contracts don't protect them.
