It is not really obvious, if that is what you are asking. I used it to go to my daughter's high school office and they never knew I had a dog in there. It is shaped like a round topped rectangle. There is venting on the ends through large grommets. Both of these carriers are very similar in shape and design. The first one is a little more like a purse because of the material it is made from.
The second one has mesh venting on the ends. If you go to the Celltei site in the link it shows it from all angles. They are both the same shape.
