Yes, it is a state law in Md and VA...no, selling of dogs/cats under the age of 8 weeks. The Washington Post has a disclaimer in the heading to state this..so anyone looking to advertize a pup under 6 weeks will not be able to do so in the newspaper...also a breeder will be fined if a buyer reports them..state law.
