OKay, Im going to try to get this correct, if I miss something perhaps someone can get this correct, if a dog is staring at you its just to look at you to see what your doing its not dominance.. when dogs stare at eachother, they are checking eachother out.... when your dog stares at you , blink , they will normally blink back, dogs even do this to each other to let them know they are cool with one another!! I have a friend who has an aggresive dog, hes not mean just unsure of situations, so he will just look at you almost mean, but if you blink at him and sort of turn your head ( the trainer) said this lets the dog know ( we are cool) , it works really it does!! On another note , sometimes Laci does stare at me but she doesnt " glare " meanly , I just think she is checking me out to see what I am doing!!
