Bailey is the first dog that I ever purchased, all other animals I've had and my bf has currently were adopted from shelters, except a Jackabee that was rescued from a neglectful owner. I would love to eventually get another yorkie, but it seems they are not plentiful in Canadian shelters, which is a good thing!! I see sooo many looking for homes in shelters in the US. I know our population is much smaller, so that is the main reason I suppose!
