I have had two separate litters produce similar pups as yours! One being male and the other female. One was Contessa's and the other was Duchess'. As they got to be 12 weeks and older they started to get what looked like a lion's mane and longer body hair. Their legs and face stAyed thin looking. They looked what's similar to what most call a red-legged Yorkie. They had thin hair as well. Their owners also keep them trimmed so I never got to see if their hair grew out. I will have to bug them for recent pics. I do have some pics of them on my website if you're interested in seeing them. They are purebred Yorkies too I know I have a chihuahua but there is no way he mixed with my girls b/c he's been neutered the whole 7 years of his life and I have documentation to prove he was neutered. My puppies are all purebred AKC Yorkies no doubt about it! The coat flaw just happens. |
