I already responded to this in another thread, but never know which one you'll check. So at the risk of being redundant...
I would suggest, given the fact that both your's and your neighbor's knowledge on breeding seem to be VERY minimal, give that they would be a litter of mixed dogs, and give that you've already stated that your Yorkie showed signs of LP (which is often inherited) that you do what is in the best interest of the DOGS and keep them separated instead of just "letting them go at it."
The things that you have described, are what most people are warned to AVOID when looking for breeders.
