My Lady is 14 plus years old and I absolutely believe that proactive vet care is the key to her longevity. A yearly geriatric blood panel including a thyroid panel is very important. Little signs that something may be "off"' like her arched back, should be checked by your vet immediately. Catching things early on, before they become more serious, can save their life. It also can save your pocketbook as things usually get much more expensive the longer they are ignored.

Do you have her on a joint supplement? Old dogs get arthritic changes in their joints and spine just like we do. Cosequin has made a huge difference in Lady's quality of life.
