 Worried--went to groomer today, not herself
Hi all. I am worried about our Sunny. We took her to a groomer today for the first time since we got her in Novermber. They took a LOT of hair off--we seriously were not sure we had the right dog. I'm not happy about that. But the worrisome part is, she is acting very differently. Her personality is usually very bubbly, and now she is really lethargic and not herself. She's acting extremely tired, and she hopped off the chair and urinated, which she doesn't usually do (although we watch her closely all the time and keep her on a schedule. She just hasn't had an accident in a long time.) I put her on my lap, and she just kind of slumped with her head down into my arm. I have a call in to the vet, but just curious if anyone else has experienced this after grooming? She is acting so different. Could she just be traumatized? My daughter is actually afraid she had stroke.
