Default designer mutts

When you mix breeds there is no way to tell how it will look. It is like baking. You're basically taking ingredients off of a shelf and mixing them together, even if you use the same ingredients, you can end up with something different each time because different traits could show. I see no point in designer mutts. You can find the same thing at a shelter, pay half price, and be saving a life. With designer mutts, it is HARD to find a good breeder. There is no rulebook on what they should look like or what genetic disorders happen. You would need at least 3 good generations free of defects, which doesn't happen because these are such a new "breed." Please don't be offended by the word "mutt" but it is what it is.
Hope you find the dog that you're looking for. Since you're not looking for a pure bred you might want to check the shelter.
