Yes I read about the stress factor. However, I also read that if they test positive within 15 days of getting her than they were infected where she came from. And she tested positive 2 days after I got her since she was bought on a Saturday. So I can easily blame this on the breeder. Not to mention they had given her Albon every other day as maintenace they told me and that she had nothing wrong with her. That was clearly a bunch of bull! She has never appeared stressed in the least. Not saying she didn't have a bit coming to a new home, that is entirely possible, but the Coccidia was not due from that.

As for my husband, I was very upset with him to say the least. But it was an accident and I really don't feel like blaming him forever about that unless I want him to divorce me. Even the Vet said I should not be too hard on him, that accidents do happen.

Yes I have washed beddings, probably not enough though.

Have you washed everything she's come in contact with? Her bedding, floors, etc?

It's shed in feces...if she's eating her own waste...she's re-infecting herself also.

I think I'd be more ticked at hubby than the breeder. Hope her foot heals without any complications.
