Default Becoming overly frustrated because the vet cant figure out my yorkies health issue

Heres what we know so far. A low pitched wheezing is present when:
A)Theres something in her mouth and her mouth is open.
B)She is smelling anything
C)Upon inspiration and expiration
D)While shes sleeping

She also has rapid breathing (45 breaths per minute)
Gained alot of weight due to Prednisilone for 3 months
Doesnt want to play anymore

After Xrays and an ultrasound the good news:
No reverse PDA, or collapsed trachea. Its not reverse sneezing either.
She does have minimal fluid in her lungs. She already has been on Clavamax for it.
She doesnt seem like shes in pain. She still gets very excited to see us, or when she gets to go on a car ride.
Her gums and tongue are pink, so it looks like shes getting enough oxygen.

I really worry about the strain this is putting on her respiratory system. Can she die from this? Anybody ever hear or see this in any yorkies?
On a side note, she had the intranasal kennel cough vaccine in the past because the injection did not agree with her. Could this cause it?

I am also wondering about asthma, or Laryngeal paralysis. I dont know what to do anymore. My current vet is super nice, but maybe I need to see another specialist.
