I was worried about that as well. Now I have a mesh ex-pen with tops and bottoms. She can't get out anymore.....doesn't stop her from trying but at least now she won't get hurt. The following link has a pic of the ex-pen. It's the only one I could find that she has not been able to escape and it's so much more safer for her.
