I visit over my dad's often (sometimes 2 or 3 nights at a time) and they have 2 dogs -- a male and a female, plus Jackson when I'm there. Jackson gets along MUCH better with the other male and they are best buddies. The female & him have gotten in many more spats and fights and don't play as much. Jackson seems to play rougher with boys though, they like to wrestle a lot and play tug of war, etc. It's definitely less work on me being over there with other dogs because I don't really have to entertain him... they entertain themselves. When it's just me and Jackson, he definitely requires much more attention. On the downside... he picks up on their bad behaviors and barks a lot more than usual, etc and it often feels like a zoo over there, LOL. Sometimes it's nice to just go home to me and Jax.
