Poor Juicy, did you clean the area w/hydrogen peroxide? It doesn't sting.

It's a possibility that the groomer didn't notice it. When dogs are picked up, they get so excited to see their owners, their blood boils (figure of speech) & they bleed if they got injured somewhere, like nails & in Juicy's case, the cut.

That's horrible that Petco isn't claiming the fault & blaming it on her excitability...cutting herself. Ridiculous!

I would have the vet examin her & evaluate how it got cut. If it was clippers, I would take the written evaluation to Petco & complain.
