I have been doing some research on great danes and surprisingly enough they are supposed to be wonderful with small dogs and babies. We have two little dogs - a yorkie and a yorkie/chi mix - and we ahve been talking about getting a third but can't decide what to get. If anyone has a great dane, I would love you hear about your experience.
