Default Happy Easter Grrracie and Scruffy

Well, this is our first holiday without Gracie and Scruff Man and here I sit in tears for them again. Gracie's birthday is Tuesday. She would have been eight years old. I hope she understands that Baby Lexy can never replace her, but that we have enough love in our hearts to give to her too. She would be sooo jealous of this little toot!

Andy (my husband) put Gracie's headstone on her grave today. It tore him up, I'm sure. Scruffy's grave marker was made by a good friend of ours. I can't go back there where they are buried yet.

I hope that at the Rainbow Bridge they have little Easter bunnies to play with and that Jesus loves pets too. I'm sure He must. He gave them to all of us.

I know Scruffy is better off in heaven where he can see and hear and eat whatever he wants! Everybody thought that I rescued him, but really he rescued me in a way. He gave us so much more than we could have ever given him. He used to look so precious in his little pajamas!

They are in my heart forever....
