Chloe... Yes, the vet used the stockinette first visit, and really preferred no covering, but Chloe wants to lick nonstop. We bought some cotton infant onesies and cut to fit..they are working out great. The sivacream as everyone has said "is miraculous". I have some that was prescribed to my grandtwinster when she got a burn 4 yrs ago...and still have it and have given to friends with burns...indeed a miracle salve. But...am keeping all links and others about natural salves for Chloe when/if Silva runs out. Thanks to everyone for your info...it is not going unnoticed. I have learned so much from you yorkie lovers than I know about Bostons.
Keeping all info! Had a horrifying experience this past Thurs with my youngest BT - pulled her out of the alligator infested canal behind my house here in FL (lived here 8 yrs and had no desire to venture behind the fence into the lake/overgrown canal) and she managed to rip off wood slats on privacy fence and decided she needed to explore the rabbits that were nesting nearby (I was getting new slats and drill ready to repair at the time). I found her 45 mins later, the only thing that saved her is the gators are cold and still sleeping. Needless to say, between Chloe and Gigi (my youngest BT), I need a vacation. |
