Ok I've decided that my next big photography related purchase is going to be Adobe Lightroom.
I know there are a few different versions (1 2 and 3) I don't need the lastest and greatest- so does anyone know- are 1 and 2 just fine if I am far from being a professional photographer?

Also does anyone know where I can get it cheapest? Right now on amazon for the newest version it is like 350 bucks- not great- but i know it is something i might have to pay a lot for.

Any thoughts and ideas on this are much appreciated- i've never used the program but from what i've read it is great for photo editing.
