Hi! My 10 week old Yorkie was up on a bed about 15 inches off the floor and jumped down and was yelping and holding her paw up and would not put weight on it at all. I took her to vet and he did x-rays and said no breaks/ fractures, but bruised. He put a little splint on her, which came off already. I will have to take her back to get it put back on tomorrow. Does anyone had any experience with this injury who may be able to offer some tips/advice. We are unable to give her any pain meds due to the fact she is still under 2 pounds and her age.
