Puppies go through so many growing stages. Even though roach back is a possibility, it can also be attributed to growing stages. Or it his maybe making it happen by tucking his croup (behind), if that is the case, it's because he maybe unsure of hisself. Keep in mind roach back is an abnormality of the spine, but not life threatening or crippling.
