Cherry eye is the term used for the prolapse of the gland of the third eyelid. It may occur in one or both
eyes. The condition is most common in young
dogs, six weeks to two years.
is a lot of information on the net about it, I saw a blood hound puppy with this condition sometime ago at my vet. it is so sad.
I never seen a toy dog with it tho.
