I agree there should be TWO sections - one for legit Shelter Saves and one for Re-homing - that way people would have the links and be able to make a connection to whoever is listed as the contact person...
I especially like a SHETER Rescue Only section - If it worked - members could go get those poor dogs - THEN post in the RE_HOMING Section ....or people could still post links as they're doing now along with the adoption fees....
These are just random thoughts - but I think things do need a little re-vamping .... I have a feeling some great dogs who's lives are in danger are slipping thru the many posts.... |
I guess the point I was trying to make is if they becoming YT members and they joined they could then post in the For Sale forum of the board. Their legitimacy and intentions could be asked with direct questions could be asked and then the reputable breeder would be made know and the others in question would either chose not to be members OR they would be weeded out for what they really are. "you" personally do not know who/what these people are really about~unless there are things that are being kept a secret
ie they are your neighbor byber friends slipping you a few bucks under the table to peddle their yorkies to a site full of Yorkie lovers. THAT is not what the Rescue or For Sale form for that fact is all about.
