On the average bleeding lasts 7 days.....some will last longer.....However, the bleeding time on most girls is not when they are ready to be bred. It's usually the week after.....Now this is based on an averagel, each girl is different. To be on the safer side it is best to keep her away from all males for a month......
To be even safer, have her spayed.
Disposable diapers will not keep dogs away from her. Yorkies bleeding is very minimal and at times you really can't tell there is bleeding unless you blot her after she pees.
