Please don't buy a dog just to put in your purse.

That's no reason to have any living animal in your life. A dog should be treated as a dog and bought only because you WANT one.... not to be a fashion accessory.

If you're really wanting a tiny yorkie - you may want to read up alot more - tiny yorkies can have many health issues and unless you're ready to devote a ton of time and money to your pet - then maybe look for a larger healthier puppy from a reputable breeder -

That means NO pet stores - NO flea Markets and watch out for the online 'breeder' sites - many are just awful.

Regarding your friend:

Flea Markets are HORRIBLE Places to get any dog at - I wish they were outlawed from selling animals as with people on the side of the road...... - the poor dogs are normally smuggled into the country and come complete with parvo and other terrible illnesses due to NO VET CARE - your friend needs to take her puppy to the vet immediatly. Her puppy may have a serious illness since she 'bought' from a Flea Market.

And linking to those kennels ? Please dont give them free advertising - maybe some will know them - but it's always better to call one first then ask for opinions - someone may have experience with them

I kind of hope all this is just to play with our heads.....the purse puppy thing makes people nuts ! (no offense if you're for real)
Kinda scary isn't it? Yes, when I get enquirers purposely looking for tiny and especially purse puppies get an education whether or not they want it, and get turned down flat.
And on the flea markets, yes it is a nightmare and also pet stores. Recently a pet store selling sick dogs trucked in from who knows where, was shut down because of an outbreak of parvo. And yes, they were being sold sick, many died.
