Most reputable breeders will supply you with a toy or stuffed animal that the pup was given at birth and played with while growing up. When we brought Heidi home she was on my daughters lap with the stuffed toy she had while being raised at the breeders. She was very comfortable with the drive home I think due to the fact of the smell and sense that the toy had as far as being from her original place of birth. The breeder also gave us her blanket she slept on to help with the sudden change in her life. It worked out quite well.
