First of all, don't be looking for a breeder advertising and selling Teacups. They are undersized poor representatives of the breed. often they come with a lot of health issues and cannot be toted around in a purse, they are too delicate.
Some advertising Teacups will sell you a pup that can end up quite large.
A nice size for a yorkie is about 5 lbs or so. However, when you are buying a puppy, no breeder can actually guarantee the size. They can get bigger than expected or smaller.
Good luck in your search. You might try the YTCA their website is Yorkshire Terrier Club of America and click on the Breeder tab. Expect to be interviewed and approved as a prospective new owner. | |
