Congratulations! He is probably just scared being in a new home without his litter mates and family. Sometimes they will cry for a few days until they adjust. Maybe try leaving him in the crate for short periods of time and then let him out. What I did with my new puppies is keep their crate in my bedroom at night so they knew I was nearby. It's vey hard to not give in to the crying but he will catch on quickly that crying won't get him out. Also you could try putting a safe toy/nylabone in with him. Hang in there it gets better!
